Cecilie is 40 years old and works as a teacher, teaching the subjects math, science and computering at Kristiansand Voksenopplæringssenter (adult education center). In addition to sailing, she likes outdoor life, writing and to work with computers. She is also coach for the local soccer team, Vigør, boys – 11 years old.

Cecilie knows she is the captain, but the rest of us know she is second mate, assistant, housekeeper and very good at being in everybody’s way.

Earlier she also worked as an anchor winch, but has recently been rationalized away. 

In addition to this, she has always the night watch. If there are any unpleasant sounds from the kids after bedtime, she immediately check if something is wrong with them.
